lisensed floyed rose trouble shooting?

okay so im changing strings on my floyed rose and ive sucsesfully changed the first five strings, but i cannot seem to even unlock the 6 thing ive tryed every thing,from using a bigger alen wrench to changing the fine tuners to using a skrewdrive to lossen it up and noting will work, im pretty sure i had unfortunaty stripped it…. what should i do if i have, should i go take it to a profecianal?

The fine tuners have nothing to do with changing the string. If you have stripped the alan screw then you will need to get a new one, so you might as well take it to your local music store and let them do it for you. In the future you can avoid this problem by taking a few small precautions;
#1 change your strings at least every other month or sooner (about every 6 weeks is ideal)
#2 keep it clean! Like all metal, your floyd is subject to grime and rust, so wipe it off now and then.
#3 use a drop of 3 in 1 oil on the threads of the lock down screws to loosen them.
#4 use only the right size alan wrench.
When the lock down screw wont loosen, even with the correct alan wrench, than use a pair of vise grips to firmly grab it and apply firm, even pressure to “break” the seal of it. By applying a few drops of oil to the threads you can prevent the threads from “freezing up”.
Don’t worry, this happens to everybody at least once!
